The 'Old School' Building Company is owned by Jerry Clarke. Jerry is an experienced builder, property developer and gas engineer who is Gas Safe registered.
Jerry lives in Reigate with his wife Helen, who runs her own legal business, and his boys who attend the local schools, Reigate Priory and Reigate Grammar School. Jerry is interested in Rugby and you will often find him coaching the under 9s on his days off.
Jerry initially obtained a degree in mechanical engineering and was sponsored by British Gas with whom he started his career with. After 10 years of rising up through the ranks with British Gas. He subsequently set up his own heating and plumbing business before moving to Reigate in 1999, where he set up and ran his own Heating and Plumbing Company - Reigate Gas Services.
With most building work these days the mechanical side (heating and plumbing) is central to almost all construction projects. In 2006 Jerry became an accredited installed for Worcester Bosch Boilers and
through partnerships with builders; Jon Konetsa, Angus Ogilvy-Stuart and Stephen Fretwell, Jerry has built many houses, extensions, and loft conversions. He has also installed countless boilers and central heating systems, fitted hundreds of bathrooms and kitchens over the years.
Jerry's depth of experience will be able to help facilitate your project. He can help you to try and visualize the outcome of the finished project in your own home. He can identify areas that need more thought, avoid potential pitfalls and suggest ways to help the smooth running of the project to make sure it runs on time and on budget.
